Family Law
Separation, parenting arrangements, property settlements and the decisions that follow. Calm, practical guidance focused on resolution and your family's future — not on conflict for its own sake.
Family · Criminal · Succession
Kimbri Law is a Tablelands legal practice led by solicitor Peter John Kimpton. Steady, plain-spoken advice when the stakes are high — from our Yungaburra office to clients across Perth and Tasmania.
What we do
We keep our practice deliberately focused — so that the matters we take on receive genuine attention, not a production line.
Separation, parenting arrangements, property settlements and the decisions that follow. Calm, practical guidance focused on resolution and your family's future — not on conflict for its own sake.
Clear-headed defence and representation, from first charge to final hearing. Your rights protected and your matter handled with discretion, rigour and a steady hand in the courtroom.
Wills, estates, probate and estate disputes. Sensible provision for the people and things you care about — and certainty for those you one day leave behind.
The principal
Principal Solicitor · Kimbri Law
Peter leads Kimbri Law from its office in Yungaburra, on the Atherton Tablelands. He practises across family, criminal and succession law — three of the areas where good advice, delivered plainly and early, makes the greatest difference to how a matter ends.
Clients come to Kimbri Law at difficult crossroads. Peter's approach is unhurried and direct: understand the whole picture, explain the law in language that makes sense, and chart the most sensible path through — whether that path runs through negotiation, mediation or the courtroom.
Where we act
Our home is Far North Queensland. Because family law is federal law, we also act for clients well beyond it — with established ties to Perth and Tasmania.
Our home ground. From the Yungaburra office we serve Cairns, Atherton, the Tablelands, the coast and the Cape — local knowledge, close to hand.
Distance is no barrier to careful counsel. We act for Perth and wider WA clients, particularly in family-law matters under national jurisdiction.
From the north to the south of the country — we advise Tasmanian clients with the same attention we give those next door.
